Wanderlust

Today I want to talk about something that I have a major case of at the minute: wanderlust!

Google defines wanderlust as ‘a strong desire to travel’. I bet most people have a lot of wanderlust, I mean, how can you not want to see the world?!

I can blame my wanderlust on Indiana Jones partly, and last week this video from FunForLouis really, really gave me such a desire to abandon everything and go and explore the world.

This video is really worth watching.

He did all of this in ONE YEAR. I know that will most likely never be possible for me, nor would I truly like to spend only 3 months a year in the UK, but oh my GOD DO I WANT TO SEE THE WORLD.

I’m gonna give you some wanderlust feelings by showing you some of the places in the world I want to visit/revisit:

Venice, Italy

I visited Venice once before and it is an incredible city. I’d love to go again when it isn’t so hot, it was almost 40 degrees Celsius and it knocked me quite sick so I couldn’t make the most of my time there!

New York City, USA

Again, I’ve been once before and would love to go back.

…And maybe that’s enough for now. I wanna see the world so badly. If I can, I’d love to travel after I finish university.

I have a plan that will one day in motion to visit Japan for a few weeks, in a couple of years. I seriously can’t wait, I’ve wanted to go to Japan since I was 4 years old!
