Fresher’s Week

Fresher’s week is a weird time. I’m technically not a fresher, but it means that I got a week off of university to…do whatever I wanted really.

To be honest, a lot of it included being in front of this screen.

(Homeland is an awesome series)

So, the traditional Fresher’s week involves hella drinking and hella partying I believe.

Mine involved a little of both.

I went to go see Basshunter on Monday, yes that Basshunter.

It was…interesting. I’ll leave it there. I don’t want to throw shade here. Not too much anyway.

You imagine a party in a huge venue with lights and drinks and good music to bed amazing.

It was a hot sweaty mess and I ended up leaving early to go and shower. I am a party animal.

I also went to a museum with my friends Sarah and Shannon, in which we ended up sitting in the children’s play area and colouring for a good half an hour. My scuba diver looked amazing. Here’s a snap of that day:

The Fresher’s fair has been my favourite bit this week. My flatmate Stacy won a year’s worth of Pop Chips when we were there. How could it not be my favourite part of the week, we’re getting loads of crisps for free!!!

I won some other bits, like a rose gold camping mug? Very strange but very Pintrest non the less. When you type Pintrest it doesn’t look like a real word. Take a minute to process that.

I also got to hang out with some of my closest friends from home, which ended up with eating a lot of pizza at 4am which really did ruin what I wanted to eat for the rest of the day.

This picture isn’t the best, it has a huge ton of filter on it but it’s the best I have from that night!

And here’s a picture of my friends and I today- on the first day of our second year!

Sorry for the weirdly formatted post, I don’t know how I feel about this post? I don’t know, but I’m gonna leave this up for now, maybe one day I’ll like to format posts this way, who knows!

See you guys Thursday!
