Captain America: Civil War Spoiler Free Review

I'm going preface this with saying that Civil War may be my favourite Marvel film yet. Better than 2012's The Avengers, better than Iron Man 3, hell even better than The Winter Soldier! The only one it may not beat for me is Captain America: The First Avenger, but I just love that film so much.

Civil War has been dubbed 'Avengers 2.5', and after seeing this film I fully understand that. We have a whole host of characters, new and old, rather than the typical 'stand-alone' Marvel affair, which would feature 1 or 2 of the Avengers. However, unlike The Winter Soldier, we aren't seeing just Steve and Natasha fight together, we're seeing the Avengers (and some newcomers), splitting into two factions and facing off over conflicting views on a piece of legislation affecting their activities as protectors of the world.

Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo in Ikebukuro

Hello!

Today's post will be on part of my second day in Japan, which was spent in Ikebukuro!
Ikebukuro may be my favourite area of Tokyo, it's up there with Shibuya. Ikebukuro has such a nice 'vibe' to it! It's hectic, yet not overcrowded. It's full of energy, but not in your face. It's got all your anime and game delights, but it's not overt nor garish like Akiba can be.

The above picture is the crossing directly outside of Ikebukuro station, which is one of the biggest commuter hubs in Tokyo! Especially for the Yamanote and Tobu Tojo lines. Though, if you're headed to Sunshine City like we were (it's where the Pokemon Center is), you could come out of much better exits than this! We learned our lesson after this!

Where I've Been (Spoilers: It was Japan)

I've not posted in a long time, I think this is the longest 'break' I've taken since setting up this blog in May 2014. Which reminds me that I need to renew my domain name soon, time flies!

So I went to Japan for 26 days. I think. I get really confused with the timezones, as I started my journey from Liverpool on Tuesday March 15th and didn't get to Japan until Thursday March 17th. Whilst I was in Japan I didn't really have the time for blogging and the such, since it tended to be 12 hour days, then coming home to shower, wash clothes, sleep and repeat the next day!
